Getting my CWP in Tombstone Territory

I am getting my CWP soon, ( concealed weapons permit).  I do not feel a need to carry a weapon and honestly under South Carolina law , I do not need one.  Our state just allows a person who is not a criminal to carry a weapon on their person, concealed or not. In your vehicle, on your belt in a holster, slung over your shoulder, in your glovebox on or under your seat, laying on your dash or stuffed under your hat. I saw a fella at Tractor Supply with a pistol holstered on his belt  buying goat feed. “Whistle me up a memory, whistle me  back to where I’d rather be”.  I am taking a 4 hour gun safety course that is paid for by  the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED). I’ll be fingerprinted, photographed. I will rent a pistol and fire 25 shots.  “If” I pass the test for the course , I will receive my permit in a few weeks that will allow me to carry a concealed weapon.  ” Whistle me a tune that will carry me, to Tombstone Territory.”
